What are the steps to take?
The process is in several stages and mainly will entail the following:
1. Express Interest
First, you need to express interest by completing the Expression of Interest Form. The form asks for information about the certificates/ qualifications you have, your preferred course(s) or area of study.
2. On-on-One Meeting
We will review the form you have submitted to know what you have and the options that could be suitable to you. Thereafter, we will have a one-on-one meeting with you to provide further information and answer any questions you may have.
3. Preliminary Selections
Based on the information gathered from the meeting, we will undertake a search of college/universities in your preferred country and provide you a list of options you can choose from.
4. Application for admission
After the selection of the program, we will coach and support you to complete the application for admission to the college/university. Every country or university/college have different processes and documentations hence the steps to be taken here will be different for each student.
5. Funding – International Loan
Concurrently, at the time of applying for admission, together with our prospective students, discussions will commence with the third-party licensed lender. The student will submit all required forms to the lender and the lender will approve an amount for the student loan.
6. Apply for Study Permit
When everything is set, by the help of an approved immigration consultant, the application for study permit shall be submitted. The lender (i.e., the company providing the international student loan), shall provide appropriate proof of funds letter which shall be included in the documentation.

There are several universities and colleges to choose from. The university or college you finally enroll in will largely be determined by the program or career path you wish to pursue. In other words, depending on your preferred course/program, we will advise you about the universities or colleges that you should consider.

Types of Internationals Student Loans
There are two main types of International Student Loan:
Type 1: Non-collateral loan
Type 2: Loans requiring payment of collateral
Additional information:
Type 1: Non-collateral loan
This loan does not require the payment of collateral. The total cost of your study will be a total of tuition fees and living expenses. When application is made for the loan, the lender will determine the amount they will approve. If the total cost of study is approved then you would not need to make a top-up. However, if only part of the cost is approved, then you would need to personally fund the remaining balance.
Type 2: Loans requiring payment of collateral
With this type of loan, the application determines the amount they need as loan; you can ask for the total cost or only a part of it. In all, the collateral that you need to pay is 25% of the amount you are asking for.
NOTE: The lender will provide you a letter/documentation which you shall use as proof of funds when you apply for the study permit. More information will be provided during our one-on-one meeting.
Can I study for certificate, diploma, degree, masters or PhD?
Largely, most of the international student loan is provide for programs which are not more than two years in duration. Therefore, we mostly, advice applicaions to consider enrolling in short duration programs such as:
- Certificate
- Diploma, and
- Masters
How long can I pay back the loan?
Most of the loan are payable within 7 – 10 year period, and not more than 13% fixed interest rate per annum.
